Troponin
Troponin is a protein found in the heart muscle. It is an important indicator of heart health and helps diagnose heart muscle damage. It can be used to measure cardiac damage after a heart attack, heart failure, and other cardiovascular diseases. Troponin levels can also be used to evaluate chest pain and determine the risk of future cardiac events. Additionally, Troponin is useful in assessing the effectiveness of treatment, prognosis, and risk of reoccurrence in those with cardiovascular disease. It is an important biomarker for predicting and managing cardiovascular health.
