Arthroplasty is a surgical procedure that involves reconstructing or replacing a damaged joint. It addresses joint problems caused by injury, trauma, degenerative diseases, or conditions that cannot be resolved with non-surgical treatments. The aim of this procedure is to improve or restore mobility and relieve pain. It can be used to treat joints in the hips, knees, shoulders, and elbows, among others. Arthroplasty can give people an improved quality of life and is an effective way to treat severe joint problems.
