Forensic Science

Forensic science is the scientific application of techniques and principles used to investigate, analyze and present evidence in a court of law. It is a useful tool in criminal justice, civil law and in the investigations of all types of crime. Forensic science helps law enforcement agencies, attorneys and courts in determining guilt or innocence in criminal cases, as well as in other civil matters. By examining physical evidence such as fingerprints, DNA, and blood, examining digital evidence such as social media posts, and using other specialized techniques, the forensic scientist can provide valuable insight into incidents under investigation. Forensic science plays a critical role in the criminal justice system, helping to ensure justice and protect society.
