Address:
Via S. Allende 182, 84086 Baronissi (SA)
Research Interests:
- Studies on the interaction between bioactive small molecules (drugs) and target proteins by mass spectrometry-based approaches.
These investigations are aimed to the identification of the molecular targets and off-targets of pharmacologically active compounds, and are performed by compound-centred proteomics approaches.
-Identification and structural analyses of proteins involved in pathological processes.
These studies are realized both on purified proteins, by biochemical approaches coupled with mass spectrometry analytical techniques, or on complex samples (cell or tissue lysates), by proteomic investigation methods.
- Structural analysis and quantization of endogenous and exogenous metabolites in biological fluids.
