Biography:
- He holds a degree in Veterinary Medicine from the Federal Rural University of Pernambuco (1977), a Masters in Reproductive Physiology from the Federal Rural University of Pernambuco (1984) and a PhD in Animal Physiology - University of Leeds, England, (1995).
- He is currently researcher IIIi of the Brazilian Agricultural Research Company, in the area of Animal Reproduction (Andrology) and Proteomics; Full Professor and Adjunct Coordinator of the Master of Animal Science at the Vale do Acaraú State University and visiting professor at the Federal Rural University of Pernambuco.
- She has experience in Veterinary Medicine, with emphasis in Animal Andrology and Endocrinology of Stress, working mainly in the following subjects: goat, sheep, andrology, stress and reproductive management.

- Strategies for the Conservation and Genetic Improvement of New Sheep Race Sheep.
- Immune-Immune system study using proteomics, using the identification of biomarkers and the dynamics of metalloproteinases (MMPs) in CAE virus infection.
- Evaluation of sexual behavior and seminal characteristics of sheep of the Santa Inês, Dorper and Racial Pattern Defined in the dry and rainy periods in the Northern Brazil region.
