Biography:

  • Born in Livorno (LI) on April 26, 1958, she graduated with honors in Medicine and Surgery at the University of Rome "La Sapienza" where she also obtained a specialization in Otorhinolaryngology and in Audiology .
  • Subsequently she pursued the PhD title at the University of Catania . 
  • However, having experienced in person the problem of overweight, in childhood and adolescence, and having overcome it effectively, has decided to improve his knowledge on the subject and to make them available to people with eating disorders and obesity. . 
  • Therefore she graduated with honors the Master Degree in Sciences of Human Nutrition at the University of Rome "TorVergata" and the specialization in Cognitive and Behavioral Psychotherapy at the Istituto Skinner of Rome recognized by MIUR.
  • She currently teaches Psychopathology of Behavior - Eating Disorders at the European University of Rome and is a lecturer at the School of Specialization in Cognitive and Behavioral Psychotherapy Skinner Institute for the discipline of Eating Disorders.
  • She is also a member of the Italian Society for the Study of Obesity SIO , of the Italian Society for the Study of Eating Disorders of SISDCA and of the Italian Association of Behavioral Modifications of AIAMC.
  • She graduated with honors in Medicine and Surgery at the University of Rome "La Sapienza" where she also obtained the specialization in Otorhinolaryngology and in Audiology.
