The Harmonizing Power of Poetic Language, Between Mimesis and Catharsis
Abstract:
Rationally, to clarify the genesis and the resonant power of the (poetic) language implies two pluridisciplinary perspectives, namely: a) the contributions of semiotics, phonology and linguistic, neuro-physiology and biophotonics, in order to justify the mimetic dimension of the words by its sonorous signifier; b) the contributions of psycho-logics and psycho-analysis connected to literary hermeneutics, able to explain how the mental images and thoughts are becoming emotional states by the "lighted" signified of the words. The both perspectives are (auto)referentially connected – for a more explicit illustration – to the poetic / metaphoric language used by the authors. In this integrative way, the paper is complex, acknowledging the assumption of sufi thinkers that our words are "sounds full of light".

Effects of Water Replenishment from Yellow River on Water Quality of Hengshui Lake Wetland
Abstract:
Hengshui Lake Wetland is the only national wetland and bird nature reserve in the North China Plain. It plays an important role in maintaining the species diversity and ecological balance. In recent years, due to industrial and agricultural production, infrastructure and ecological environment construction and other reasons, the infiltration, runoff, evapotranspiration and other water balance elements was changed, which reduced runoff into the lake. In order to ease the tense water resources situation in the region, Hengshui Lake is replenished each year by Yellow River water. Although Diversion Yellow River Wetland has made direct water supply protection, but also affected the ecology and environment of Hengshui Lake wetlands. In order to understand how artificial water diversion can affect the ecological environment of natural lakes, this paper analyzes the effects of artificial water storage on the water quality of the lake by using the measured data of water s...
Trace Elements Measurement In Apricot (Prunus ArmeniacaL.) Seeds By Neutron Activation Analysis
Abstract:
Plant food are main sources of elements in human nutrition diet and required for proper growth and body development. Present study involved analyzing the elemental profile attributes of apricot seeds in order to obtain a global pattern of apricot seeds. Trace element in seed of 8 apricot cultivars grown in Syria have been determined using Instrumental Neutron Activation Analysis (INAA). Total of 28 elements namely Potassium (K), Magnesium (Mg), Calcium (Ca), Chlorine (Cl), Sodium (Na), Zinc (Zn), Iron (Fe), Copper (Cu), Aluminum (Al), Manganese (Mn), Rubidium (Rb), Iodine (I), Bromine (Br), Cobalt (Co), Antimony (Sb), Molybdenum (Mo), Chromium (Cr), Mercury (Hg), Barium (Ba), Cadmium (Cd), Cerium (Ce), Lanthanum (La), Selenium (Se), Samarium (Sm), Strontium (Sr), Titanium (Ti), Uranium (U) and Vanadium (V) were determined. The elements present in the apricot seed samples were in the range of levels reported in the literature. The results show that the seed of apri...

Results of Bronchoscopic Lung Volume Reduction with One-way Valve in Patients with Severe Emphysema in Vietnam
Abstract:
Bronchoscopic lung volume reduction (BLVR) has been applied in COPD patients with heterogeneous emphysema. In this first clinical trial in Vietnam, we evaluated the safety and initial results of BLVR by one-way valve in COPD patients with severe emphysema. We performed a prospective, nonrandomized, single center longitudinal study in 30 stable COPD patients with heterogeneous severe emphysema on CT-scanner, the average age of 65.17 years old, FEV1≤35 %pred., TLC ≥ 100 %pred., RV ≥ 150 %pred. and 6MWT < 450 meters. The Zephyr one-way bronchial valves (PulmonX, Redwood City, CA, USA) with the size of 5.5 mm and 4mm were placed in lobar or segmental bronchi via flexible bronchoscopy. 28 patients were placed only one valve, 1 patient with two and 1 patient with three valves. 23 valves with th...
