Journal of Primates (JP) is a scientific journal dedicated to publishing high-quality original research on all aspects of non-human primates. This journal is dedicated to all aspects of primate behavior, ecology, conservation, genetics, and health, including both field and laboratory studies. JP actively publishes scholarly research on topics such as species descriptions and distributions, life histories, social interactions, communication, cognition and behavior, habitat use and selection, and the effects of environmental change. Additionally, the journal also covers topics such as primate nutrition, diseases, and metrics of primate health and welfare, as well as thematic reviews of current topics in primate research. 


The journal encourages authors to submit interdisciplinary research that incorporates both theoretical and practical aspects of primate studies. JP publishes manuscripts containing original research, reviews, commentaries, and notes from the field. The journal is published online and all content is made available to interested readers at no charge.
