International Journal of Hydrocarbons

Aims and Scope

The journal publishes original research and review articles that cover topics such as the engineering, chemical, and physical properties of hydrocarbons; the development of novel processes and technologies for the production, utilization and distribution of hydrocarbon fuels; the environmental management of hydrocarbon extraction; and the utilization of hydrocarbons for energy storage. Additionally, IJH encourages research and discussion on the economics, political dynamics, and policy implications of hydrocarbon usage.

International Journal of Hydrocarbons (IJH) aims to provide a global platform for hydrocarbon research, enabling scientists to share and discuss their work, as well as providing policy makers with evidence-based information to aid with decision-making. The journal encourages submission of empirical, theoretical, and/or data-driven research articles that also include economic, social, and policy considerations. The journal also encourages submission of high-quality reviews of the current state-of-the-art in the hydrocarbon field and provides a space for researchers to discuss the importance of their findings in the context of the industry.

IJH seeks to provide an authoritative and comprehensive source of original research and information for hydrocarbon professionals, encouraging collaboration and the sharing of knowledge to promote the progress of the industry.
