International Journal of Anesthesia

Aims and Scope

International Journal of Anesthesia covers a wide selection of areas relevant to the scientific and clinical content of the anesthesiology field. IJAN aims to add real international flavor to anesthetic studies pertaining to all possible forms and to advance the understanding and application of novel techniques. Its objective is to cover a wide range of sub and multi-disciplinary models as well as the trending revolutionary and translational research in the field, thus making way to be the most up to date journal.

The aim of the journal is to provide a platform for authors to publish their original scientific research articles, reviews, and short communications on various topics related to the practice of anesthesia. The scope of the journal encompasses all aspects of anesthesia including pre-operative and post-operative care, regional and local anesthesia, pediatric and geriatric anesthesia, critical care and pain management, and the use of anesthesia in various specialties.

IJAN welcomes authors to submit research articles, reviews and short communications that share new findings and advances in the field of anesthesia. Research articles should include a structured abstract and a review of relevant literature. Review articles should provide an in-depth overview of a topic and current challenges or open questions. Short communications are also accepted and should outline a concise description of recent research focused on a particular topic in the field of anesthesia.
