JES's mission is to expand and disseminate knowledge throughout the world. The journal publishes high-quality scientific works covering original research, methods and theory, reviews, and synthesis of the literature. JES is committed to open access publishing and aims to provide an innovative and timely platform for research in the fields of evolutionary science.

Journal of Evolutionary Science(JES) publishes papers that focus on the generation of knowledge concerning all facets of evolution, from molecular to organismal levels. This includes the development of evolutionary models and theories, the effects of the environment on evolutionary changes, evolutionary processes, and the interactions of organisms with their environment. With the goal of stimulating new insights.

Journal of Evolutionary Science(JES) publishes all scholarly work related to evolutionary biology, including topics in evolutionary medicine, evolutionary genetics, evolutionary anthropology, evolutionary ecology, and many other areas of evolution. Papers accepted by JES are immediately available to the public upon publication. This quick open-access publication allows for a much wider audience and a greater engagement of the scientific community. JES is committed to using the most up-to-date technology for easy web publishing and access for readers.
