Aims And Scope

Journal of Digestive Disorders and Diagnosis (JDDD) is an online journal devoted to the publication of original research and review articles on digestive disorders and other areas of gastrointestinal health. The journal is focused on sharing insights into the etiopathogenesis, diagnosis, and management of various digestive diseases. It provides researchers with a platform to report their findings from clinical trials and medical investigations, thus advancing medicine and public health. 

 

The journal highly encourages translational research with the goal to improve patient outcomes through evidence-based medicine. JDDD publishes clinically relevant original research articles on worldwide diagnoses and management of digestive disorders, including, but not limited to, irritable bowel syndrome, hepatitis, colon cancer, lactose intolerance, Crohn's disease, peptic ulcers, celiac disease, and GERD. The journal also welcomes research articles that examine outcomes and quality of care in the management of digestive disorders and their preventative and invasive solutions. The journal offers an extensive spectrum of topics, ranging from gastrointestinal tract tissue engineering, and hepatic parenchyma diseases, to colorectal diseases. The journal also examines areas such as therapeutics, dietary modifications, and lifestyle changes, as well as psychological and behavioral implications of digestive disorders.

 

JDDD focuses on the advancement of the knowledge and techniques used to diagnose digestive disorders. The journal explores the use of diagnostic tools such as endoscopy, imaging, laboratory testing, and gastrointestinal tract biopsies. In addition, the authors also explore topics such as natural language processing, novel techniques in diagnosing diseases, and radiologic techniques.

 

JDDD publishes articles that support advances in clinical practice, health care delivery, translational research, and public health for the betterment of patient care, and encourages the publication of research, reviews, and opinions from the worlds leading medical experts. All studies are under the scrutiny of a rigorous peer review process, and all manuscripts must adhere to the journal's aims and scope.
