Neurology

Neurology is a branch of medicine that deals with the diagnosis and treatment of conditions related to the nervous system. It involves the study of the brain, spinal cord, and peripheral nerves. Neurological conditions include Alzheimer's disease, epilepsy, Parkinson's disease, multiple sclerosis, migraine, and stroke. The goal of neurology is to diagnose and treat these conditions in order to improve the quality of life of patients. Treatment may involve medication, physical therapy, or surgery. Neurologists work to identify and address underlying causes for neurological problems, as well as provide support for those living with these conditions.
