Cancer Treatment
Cancer treatment refers to the range of medical interventions used to manage or cure a particular type of cancer. These interventions often include surgery, chemotherapy, radiation therapy, immunotherapy and hormone therapy. Each type of treatment is tailored to the individual patient and the cancer they are facing. Through advances in medical technology and an ever-increasing understanding of cancer biology, cancer treatments are becoming increasingly successful in fighting and even curing cancer. Cancer treatment has become increasingly important due to the increasing prevalence of cancer worldwide, and the need to treat it effectively. By providing better and more effective treatments, cancer survival rates are increasing, greatly improving the quality of life for those affected and their families.
