Overview
Glutathione is a powerful antioxidant molecule with numerous physiological functions. It is present in all cells of the body and plays a critical role in maintaining the health of cells and protecting them from damage caused by oxidation. Glutathione is also involved in many key regulatory processes such as metabolism, detoxification, and gene expression. It has been studied for its potential to prevent and treat a variety of diseases, including cancer, neurodegenerative disorders, and cardiovascular disease. Furthermore, it is used in cosmetology, to reduce the signs of aging and improve the skins appearance.
