Extraction of Antioxidants From Food Waste
Antioxidants are essential molecules found in the cells of our bodies and in many of the foods we consume. They neutralize free radicals and thus protect the body from potential damage caused by them. As part of a more sustainable food system, the extraction of antioxidants from food waste is becoming an attractive alternative to traditional recovery methods. This process allows for effective reuse of otherwise wasted food, and the antioxidants can then be utilized as food or dietary supplements. Extraction of antioxidants from food waste offers great health benefits and environmental benefits, as it reduces waste and offers a more sustainable way to consume important molecules for our bodies.
