Antioxidants and Natural Antioxidants

Antioxidants are compounds that prevent cellular damage caused by free radicals. They play an important role in promoting healthy cell growth, slowing down aging and helping to reduce the risk of diseases like cancer, heart disease and neurological disorders. Natural antioxidants are compounds that come from plants and animals, including vitamins, minerals, polyphenols, flavonoids, carotenoids and other plant extracts. These antioxidants have the potential to protect cells from oxidative damage, reduce inflammation and protect against chronic diseases. Natural antioxidants have numerous health benefits and can be found in many fruits and vegetables, nuts and seeds, and certain fish, meat and dairy products. They are an important part of a healthy diet and lifestyle, and can help to improve overall health and wellbeing.
