Alpha Hydroxy Acids (AHAs) are organic compounds made up of a carboxylic acid and a hydroxyl group. They are important chemical ingredients that are used in various forms of skin care, such as cleansers, moisturizers, and toners. AHAs provide a number of benefits, including skin exfoliation, hydration, and improved complexion. They are also known to reduce the appearance of wrinkles, fine lines, and other signs of aging. In addition, AHAs may be used to treat acne, psoriasis, and other skin conditions.
