Effect of Nitrogen Fertilizer and Plant Spacing on Vegetative Growth of Sugar Beet (Beta vulgaris)

Abstract:

Despite the existing several Sugar manufacturing companies in Sudan, there is an acute shortage in sugar supply, therefore the government imports Sugar to bridge the gap. Personal Protective types of Equipment (PPE) are needed for everybody who would be in danger of threatening state; the COVID-19 pandemic raised the need and global demand for PPE, one of the most used and required equipment are gowns, coveralls, and torso protectors; which their shortage of supply raised the cost globally too. This review article gathered the guidelines and recommendations from manufacturers, international organizations, and self-experiments of authors for these utilities. And, provides recommendations on the level of protection needed for each condition.

Significance of Radiological Findings in Patients with Respiratory and Abdominal Manifestations of Covid-19

Abstract:

The autopsy findings of patients died from Covid -19 showed that pulmonary and multiorgan small vessels thromboembolism is an essential features of the disease.

Small vessels thromboembolism is frequently not detected by means of laboratory and radiological investigations.

The current perspective reviewed the different radiological findings in patients with covid -19 suffering from respiratory and/or abdominal symptoms and also reviewed the recent studies which used the contrast enhanced ultrasound in the diagnosis of patients with pulmonary and multiorgan small vessels thrombosis.

The Biology of Fall Army Worm (Spodopterafrugiperda. J. E. Smith) in Sudan

Abstract:

The Fall armyworm (Spodoptera frugiperda) is considered among the economic important pests in Sudan. Therefore, it became necessary to study and understand its biology and find out the appropriate control measure (s). To achieve the above objective, experiments based on Randomized Complete Block Design (RCBD) were carried out during the period from September 2018 to August 2019, where the Fall armyworm (FAW) was reared in the laboratory and fed on a nutrient médium composed of Corn leaves. The results displayed the ranges of eggs laid by a female was 890–1169. The egg incubation period ranged between 3-13 days. Solitary Splenic Hydatid Cyst

Abstract:

Splenic hydatid cyst is very rare, caused by the parasite echinococcus granulosus. Humans are considered an accidental intermediate host in the development of the parasite cycle. It poses a diagnostic dilemma with other cystic masses despite improved medical imaging techniques often requiring exploratory surgeries for fear of missing out on a malignant tumor. Total or partial splenectomy remains the treatment of first choice and the most effective. We report a case of solitary splenic hydatid cyst and discuss the different differential diagnoses and therapeutic modalities.
