Abstract:
Overusing the computer and internet can yield several health problems. The enhanced use of computer on can impact on both physiological and psychiatric health factors. It is accompanies with bad posture, musculoskeletal pains, obesity, weaker eyesight and mental illness. Health hazard of computer use life demands serious concern. Performing regular exercise largely can prevent or reduce the aforementioned issues that can be expected from computer and internet overuses. Physical activity such as 15 or 30 minutes walking for any break and reducing of the spending time to work with this kind of technology can account for as a helpful strategy toward living in more ideal manners.

The Knowledge Levels of Pediatricians about the Vaccination against Pertussis
Abstract:
This study aimed to assess the knowledge and attitude levels of pediatricians in terms of the pertussis vaccine. A survey study was carried out to evaluate the knowledge and attitude levels of pediatricians working in Istanbul in terms of the pertussis vaccine between May 1, 2015 and July 1, 2015. A total of 104 pediatricians who comprised of 53 male and 51 female physicians, participated in this study. It was found that 35.6% of them at low-level, 51% at middle-level and 13.5% at a high-level of knowledge. Abstract:
Pre-adipocytes are the precursors with the potential to make new fat cells during adipose tissue expansion. Nevertheless, the pre-adipocytes behaviors, and their possible roles in energy homeostasis have long been overlooked. Our previous study implicates that interleukin-4 (IL-4) plays a positive metabolic role by promoting insulin sensitivity and inhibiting lipid accumulation. Besides, abundant evidence shows the involvement of matrix metalloproteinase-2 (MMP-2) in the process of adipose tissue expansion. The present study aimed at examining the cross talk among glucose, insulin and IL-4 on regulating MMP-2 expression and activity in 3T3-L1 pre-adipocytes. Effects of insulin and/or IL-4 on MMP-2 expression and activity were examined in pre-adipocytes under euglycemic or hyperglycemic environment by RT-PCR and gelatin zymography, respectively. Resolution of Fetal Hydrops in a Case of Congenital Pulmonary Airway Malformation
Abstract:
Congenital pulmonary airway malformation (CPAM) can often be noted on fetal ultrasound. When a CPAM is noted in the face of fetal hydrops, the outcome is dismal. Surgical interventions and administration of antenatal steroids can be considered for treatment, but in hydropic fetuses these interventions are not always successful. We present a case of CPAM with severe fetal hydrops that underwent steroid administration and multiple intrauterine surgical interventions, which resulted in an excellent neonatal outcome.

Wind turbines are often perceived as benign. This can be attributed to the population majority dwelling in urban locations distant from most wind turbines. Society may understate the risk to individuals living near turbines due to an overstatement of the perceived benefits of turbines, and an understatement of the risk of injury from falling turbine parts, or shed ice. Flaws in risk calculation may be attributed to a less than fully developed safety culture. Indications of this are the lack of a comprehensive industry failure database, and safety limits enabling the industry growth, but not protective of the public. A comprehensive study of wind turbine failures and risks in the Canadian province of Ontario gives data to enable validation of existing failure models. The Health of Older People in Switzerland

Over the past century, the proportion of Swiss residents aged 65 or older rose from 5.8% to 17.8%; during the same period, the proportion aged over 80 rose from 0.5% to 5.0%. Although the majority of older people in Switzerland enjoy good health, disease prevalence rises with age. Almost half (49%) of people over 65 living at home report at least one chronic illness. Among the 65- to 79-year-olds living at home, 25.2% suffer from several chronic diseases; among people in the 80s, this figure reaches 41.3%. People aged over 80 are also particularly at risk for falls (30%). In addition, between 15% and 25% of the elderly suffer from at least one mental illness. Oligodendrocytes are specialized glial cell in central nervous system (CNS) responsible for the formation of myelin sheath around the axon. Oligodendrocyte proliferation and differentiation is regulated by Wnt signaling pathway, at various stages. However, different study groups have described controversial conclusions about the effect of Wnt on oligodendrocytes precursor cells (OPCs) development. Initially it has been proposed that Wnt pathway negatively regulates the OPCs proliferation and differentiation but recently some studies have described that Wnt promotes the differentiation of OPCs. After carefully reviewing the literature, we believe that Wnt play multiple roles in OPCs differentiation and its function is time (stage) and dose sensitive. Low to moderate activation of Wnt promotes OPC development, while too much or too low is inhibitory.
