Sheep

Sheep are quadrupedal, four-legged, ruminant animals of the genus Ovis. They are important as ruminant animals due to their ability to eat large amounts of vegetation and convert it into energy-rich milk and meat. Sheep are used in many different ways, including for their milk, meat, wool, and skins. Wool is used for making garments, such as coats and sweaters, while skins are used for leather products. Sheep milk is used to produce cheese and other dairy products, while sheep meat is a popular food source and is often included in Mediterranean diets. The significance of sheep is also evidenced by their long history of domestication.
