Eutheria
Eutheria is a taxonomic group of mammals that includes humans and all other placental mammals. Placental mammals are distinguished from other mammals because they give birth to live young and nourish them through an organ called a placenta that delivers oxygen and nutrients to the growing fetus. Eutherian mammals have a wide variety of habitats and body shapes, ranging from small rodents to large whales. They are an integral part of the world’s ecosystems, and their diverse behaviors help to maintain the balance of nature. Eutherian mammals have a range of uses to humans, such as being a source of food, providing companionship, and serving as a major subject in scientific research. Eutherians are an essential part of our world, and their conservation is essential for the success of our species.
