Animals, Genetically Modified

Animals that have been genetically modified (GM) are those in which their genetic material has been changed by scientific methods, such as gene splicing. GM animals are used in a variety of fields, including medicine, pharmaceuticals, agriculture, and biotechnology. They can be used to develop new drugs and treatments or to produce proteins or milk and other products. GM animals can also be used to test new drugs, improve food production, and study human diseases. GM animals are increasingly important in the development of new medical treatments and the advancement of biotechnology. Their use has great potential to improve human health, reduce suffering, and increase the sustainability of food production.
