Overview
HPV-2 (Human Papilloma Virus-2) is a type of virus that affects the skin and mucous membranes. It is one of the most common sexually transmitted infections and is known to cause genital warts and a variety of other health complications. The virus is also associated with certain types of cancers, such as cervical, anal and penile cancer. Vaccination against HPV-2 is available and recommended for prevention and protection against the virus. Vaccination can reduce the risk of HPV-2 transmission and its associated cancers, as well as reduce the number of genital warts.
