Wild Animals

Wild animals are all animals found in nature, in their natural habitats, that remain undomesticated and free to roam. They play an integral role in maintaining the delicate balance of ecosystems and are responsible for pollination, dispersal of seeds, and nutrient cycling. Wild animals also have immense economic, recreational, and cultural significance in many parts of the world. They are hunted and consumed for food, used for traditional medicines, hunted and displayed in zoos, and appreciated for their beauty, providing an important source of livelihoods and income for many communities. Wild animals have the potential to reduce poverty and improve the quality of life for many people, and their conservation should remain high on the global agenda.
