Ecology
Ecology is the scientific study of the interactions between organisms and their environment. It involves the study of how living organisms interact with each other and their physical environment, as well as the effects of environmental changes on population dynamics, energy flow, and nutrient cycling. An understanding of ecology is essential for the sustainability of natural ecosystems, as well as human activities such as agriculture, land-use planning, and pollution control. Ecological research provides insight into how ecosystems and species respond to changing environmental conditions, and can be used to inform public policy decisions. Ecological knowledge can also be used to improve agricultural production and manage natural resources.
