Pollutants

Pollutants are substances present in the environment that can have an adverse effect on living organisms, ecosystems, and even our climate. They can originate from both natural and man-made sources and can be in the form of gases, liquids, or solids. Pollutants can cause health issues in humans and other organisms, including asthma, respiratory diseases, and even cancer. By contaminating our air, water, and soil, pollutants can also cause damage to our environment and ecosystems, including reducing biodiversity. Controlling and reducing the amount of pollutants in our environment is essential to preserving the health of our planet. There are various measures taken to reduce pollutants, such as the implementation of emissions standards, chemical and waste disposal regulations, pollution control technologies, and cleaner production processes.
