Air Pollution and Climate Change
Air pollution and climate change are two of the most pressing environmental issues of our time. Air pollution occurs when certain atmospheric pollutants accumulate in the air, often resulting from combustion emissions from cars, factories, and other sources. Climate change refers to long-term shifts in global weather patterns which are heavily influenced by increasing levels of air pollutants in the atmosphere. Both air pollution and climate change have a devastating impact on human health, ecosystems, and the global economy. Solutions to these problems include reducing fossil fuel emissions, increasing renewable energy sources, and developing clean air technologies. The important role of public policies, community involvement, and individual actions in mitigating air pollution and the impacts of climate change cannot be overlooked.
