Climate and Earth System Modelling
Climate and Earth System Modelling is the use of mathematical and computational models to analyze the dynamics of Earth’s climate and its interactions with other components of the Earth system, such as the atmosphere, ocean, land and biosphere. These models allow us to predict the future of our planet’s climate and its impacts on ecosystems, as well as to assess the effectiveness of potential strategies for reducing climate change. By providing a powerful tool for testing hypotheses, Climate and Earth System Modelling is an essential tool for understanding climate change and developing effective responses to it.
