Dr. Song-Ze Ding is a Professor of Gastroenterology and Hepatology at People's Hospital of Zhengzhou University, or Henan Provincial People's Hospital, in Zhengzhou, Henan, China. He received his MD/Ph.D. from Beijing Medical University in 1992, and firstly served as clinical physician in Gastroenterology and Hepatology, and later pursued postdoctoral work at University of Texas and University of Virginia in Helicobacter pylori infection related gastric disease research. Dr. Ding also served as an Associate Professor in the Institute for Genetic Medicine at Hokkaido University, in Sapporo, Japan. His research is focused on inflammation, stem cell, epigenetics and epithelial cancer. The primary model is Helicobacter pylori infection related human gastric diseases. He is currently editorial board member for eight international journals, also serves as expert reviewer for more than 30 reputed international journals, and has more than 30 publications in peer-reviewed international journals.
