Tissue Dehydration
Tissue dehydration is a process of removing water from cells or tissues to prepare them for microscopy or histological analysis. It is an essential step in the preparation of biological specimens for subsequent processing and analysis. Tissue dehydration preserves the relevant biological and morphological features of the tissue while also allowing the tissue to be easily sectioned onto slides. Dehydration also allows the tissue to be embedded in paraffin which preserves the tissue structure and enables precise histological examination and light microscopy.
