Thyroid Surgery
Thyroid surgery is a procedure used to treat conditions relating to the thyroid glands, such as thyroid cancer, goiter, and nodules. The procedure involves the surgical removal of all or part of the thyroid glands. This is done using an array of techniques, including open surgery (incision in the neck area) and endoscopic (minimally invasive) approaches. A successful thyroid surgery can lead to improved quality of life and a decrease in symptoms associated with thyroid conditions.
