Mathematical Biology

Mathematical biology is an interdisciplinary field that uses mathematical models, methods, and theory to understand and analyze biological phenomena. This field of study has seen a rapid growth in recent years due to its ability to provide insight into complex and diverse biological processes. Mathematical biology can be used to understand and predict the spread of diseases, investigate the complexity of biochemical pathways, and explore the evolution of species. By utilizing mathematical tools such as differential equations, stochastic processes, and computer simulations, researchers are able to better understand biological phenomena and make predictions that can be used to improve healthcare and agriculture.
