Exercise Physiology

Exercise physiology is the scientific study of the body’s short- and long-term responses to physical activity. It is a field of study that looks at how our body responds to exercise, analyzing the effects of different types of physical activity on our body's systems and functions. Exercise physiology is important because it helps us better understand how our body responds to exercise, allowing us to develop better fitness programs and exercise prescriptions that can benefit our overall health and well-being. It can also be used to help prevent and treat injuries related to physical activity. Exercise physiology is used in a variety of settings, including in personal training, physical therapy, and sports medicine.
