Overview

Lower back surgery is a medical procedure to repair or replace damaged or degenerated bones or tissues in the lower back. In some cases, surgery may be required to relieve nerve pain, or to improve range of motion and mobility. Lower back surgery can be used to treat conditions such as herniated discs, spondylolisthesis, spinal stenosis and spinal fractures. It may also be used as a way to improve posture and reduce pain in the area. Lower back surgery is a safe and effective treatment option for many different conditions that cause lower back pain, and can help improve the quality of life for those individuals.
