Clinical Neuroscience
Clinical Neuroscience is an interdisciplinary field that involves the study of brain and behavior in relation to medical and psychological treatments and interventions. It focuses on the diagnosis and treatment of neurological, psychiatric and psychological disorders to improve patient quality of life. Clinical Neuroscience combines research and clinical practice to find ways to prevent, diagnose, treat and rehabilitate neurological and mental disorders, as well as to understand their underlying causes. It also looks at how diseases or abnormalities in the brain and nervous system affect behavior, emotion, and cognition, as well as how treatments can improve mental health. Clinical Neuroscience is an important field of study, as it helps identify and treat mental health issues, reduce impairments of functioning, and improve the quality of life for individuals who suffer from neurological, psychiatric and psychological disorders.
