Sleep Apnea Obesity
Syndrome Sleep Apnea Obesity Syndrome (SAOS) is a serious health condition that is caused by a combination of obesity and obstructive sleep apnea. It is characterized by periods of stopped or shallow breathing during sleep due to intermittent blockage of the airway. This can have a variety of serious consequences for physical and mental health, including increased risk of stroke, high blood pressure, heart failure, diabetes, and depression.
