Sleep Apnea
Sleep Apnea is a disorder that causes people to stop breathing temporarily during sleep. It is associated with poor sleep quality and can lead to daytime sleepiness, increased risk of high blood pressure, heart disease, stroke, and other complications. Treatment of Sleep Apnea usually involves the use of a Continuous Positive Airway Pressure (CPAP) machine, weight loss, and lifestyle changes. If left untreated, Sleep Apnea can be a serious, potentially life-threatening condition.
