Alzheimer's Disease
Alzheimer's Disease is a progressive, degenerative brain disorder that causes a decline in memory, language and other cognitive abilities. It is the most common form of dementia and affects millions of people worldwide. Symptoms can begin appearing in a person's mid-60s or later and usually worsen over time. The disease has no cure, although treatments can help slow its progression and improve the quality of life of those affected. Researchers are actively searching for a cure and treatments that can delay its progression.
