Skin Cancer
Skin cancer is a type of cancer that originates in the skin cells. It can occur anywhere on the body and is the most common type of cancer in humans. Skin cancer can be caused by exposure to ultraviolet radiation from the sun, tanning beds, or other sources. It is important to take precautions such as wearing sunscreen, avoiding tanning, and staying away from UV radiation sources to reduce the risk of developing skin cancer. Early detection is key to successful treatment and can prevent serious complications from developing. Skin cancer can be treated with surgery, radiation therapy, chemotherapy, and/or topical medications. Treatment is designed to remove or destroy cancerous cells, minimizing the risk of recurrence or spread.
