Robotic Surgical Complications

Robotic surgery has revolutionized the traditional approach to many surgical procedures, providing enhanced precision and a shorter recovery time. However, the advanced technology still carries its own set of risks and potential complications. Common robotic surgical complications include bleeding, infection, air embolism, damage to surrounding structures, and prolonged nerve damage. It is important to be aware of these risks before undergoing robotic surgery so that both the patient and the healthcare team can be prepared for any potential complications that may arise. Adherence to best practices and careful monitoring of the patient during and after the surgical procedure can help minimize the risk of complications.
