Overview

Chest physical therapy is an exercise and therapy technique used to treat breathing difficulties, such as those caused by asthma and other chronic conditions. It can help improve pulmonary function by utilizing manual techniques to mobilize mucus and increase the lung capacity of the patient. This can help relieve shortness of breath, reduce coughing, and improve the patient’s quality of life. Chest physical therapy can also be used to increase endurance, strengthen muscles, and improve overall lung function. It is an effective way to reduce the symptoms of pulmonary conditions, and can be used in conjunction with other treatments.
