Radiation Effects
Radiation Effects refers to the range of changes to matter, living organisms, or the environment caused by exposure to radiation. Depending on the type of radiation and level of exposure, radiation effects can vary from mild skin irritation to severe radiation poisoning. Radiation can be used both positively and negatively, including in cancer treatments, nuclear energy and weapons, as well as in new technologies such as x-rays and CT scans. It is important to understand radiation effects, as they can cause negative health impacts and damage to both humans and the environment when used without caution.
