Cognitive Control
Cognitive control is an important aspect of mental functioning that involves the ability to control and regulate our behaviour, thoughts, and emotions. This can include ignoring distractions, focusing on the task at hand, or making decisions. Cognitive control is an important aspect of our everyday lives, as it allows us to set goals, plan and make decisions, and manage complex tasks. Cognitive control also helps us respond to changing situations through adapting our behaviour and cognitive processes to more effectively achieve our objectives. Improved cognitive control can help us be more successful and happier in our day-to-day lives.
