Organelle Proteomics

Organelle proteomics is the study of protein abundance and activity in different organelles within a cell. By investigating these proteins, scientists can gain insight into both normal and abnormal cellular function and gain a better understanding of diseases and their mechanisms. Organelle proteomics can be used to identify biomarkers, study protein complexes, and map disease pathways. The study of organelle proteomics can also be used to develop more targeted therapies. Overall, organelle proteomics is a powerful tool that can help scientists further understand the intricate inner workings of a cell and hopefully advance our ability to treat diseases.
