Genome Scale Kinetic Modeling

Genome-scale kinetic modeling is a computational approach used to analyze the behavior of metabolic pathways. It combines information about the genome, biochemical knowledge and experimental data to generate mathematical models of whole cellular metabolism. It is a powerful tool for understanding the metabolic behavior of cells, and has been used to analyze diseases, gene knockouts, drug targets and other biological processes. Its use in drug discovery and development, metabolic engineering, and systems biology makes it an integral part of modern biological research.
