Agriculture Economics
Agriculture Economics is the study of the economic aspects of the production, processing, distribution and consumption of food and related products. It is a branch of economics that focuses on how different economic systems and policies affect agricultural production, land use patterns, public goods and services, market structures, income and poverty, and rural development. The knowledge and understanding of agricultural economics is of great importance to farmers, policy makers, food industry owners, and consumers as it helps inform decisions on investments, production, and consumption. In addition, the field of agricultural economics can also provide insight into the broader macroeconomic and socio-economic challenges faced by farmers and agricultural sectors across the world.
