Polymer Engineering:

Polymer engineering is an interdisciplinary field of engineering focused on the design and manufacture of products made from polymeric materials. It combines aspects of chemical engineering, materials science, and mechanical engineering to develop and optimize methods for the manufacture of polymers, such as plastics and rubbers. As polymeric materials are widely used in consumer goods, engineering materials, biotechnological products, and biomedical devices, polymer engineering plays a key role in the design and manufacture of modern products. Through polymer engineering, a wide range of high-performance products can be designed, manufactured and improved in order to meet specific needs in a wide variety of applications.
