Overview
Agricultural resources are the resources used in the production of food, fuel, feed, cotton, timber and other products that contribute to the global economy. These resources include land, water, air, labor, infrastructure and capital, as well as information technology. They are essential to the functioning of society and the economy, and they are also at risk due to multiple human-caused threats, including climate change, political instability, water shortages, and the fluctuation of commodity prices. Proper management of agricultural resources is key to ensuring global food security and economic stability. Good agricultural practices, such as sustainable and organic farming, can help enhance soil fertility, reduce environmental pollutants, improve water use efficiency, and conserve biodiversity. In addition, access to agricultural resources for small-scale farmers and marginalized populations should be a priority in order to promote better food security, sustainable economic development, and improved quality of life.
