Peptide Sequence

A peptide sequence is a group of amino acids, the building blocks of protein, that are arranged in a specific order. This sequence gives peptides unique properties and is essential for proper functioning in the body. Peptides are involved in a variety of physiological processes such as regulating hormone levels, immunity and cellular communication. They also have numerous therapeutic, diagnostic, and cosmetic uses, including treating pain and inflammation, diagnosing and monitoring diseases, and providing skin-care benefits. Peptide sequences can be engineered to modify and improve the function of any given peptide, providing a powerful tool for developing innovative treatments.
